Location:

Region: Amyndeon Plateau, Amyndeon Wine Region
Vineyard: Single vineyard with 7.5 ha, planted at altitudes of 650-700 m, facing Mount Voras and with good sun exposure.

Soil: Sandy, clayey-sandy with excellent drainage, ideal for growing Xinomavro.

Climate: Semi-continental, with harsh winters and dry, hot summers, perfect for ripening grapes.

Harvest: Manual, carried out in small boxes to maintain the integrity of the grapes.

Winemaking Method:

De-stemming and gentle crushing
Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature with prolonged maceration
Maintenance on lees "sur lie" to enrich the texture and complexity of the wine.

Aging:

18 months in French oak barrels, followed by 12 months in bottle.

Tasting Characteristics:

Color: Deep Ruby
Aromas: Ripe red fruits, such as cherries and strawberries, with hints of dried herbs, spices and a light touch of earth.
Flavor: Present but soft and well-integrated tannins. Fresh acidity and a medium to full body with a smooth texture.
Finish: Long and elegant, with notes of spices, vanilla and a touch of dark chocolate.
