Alpha Estate (Ktima Alpha), located in the Amyntaio region of Western Macedonia, Greece, is one of the most prestigious wine-growing areas in Greece. Founded in 1997 by Makis Mavridis and Angelos Iatridis, the winery is renowned for producing high-quality wines, especially with the Xinomavro variety, which uniquely reflects the terroir of this area.

The vineyards are located at an altitude of 620 to 710 meters and cover approximately 200 hectares. The region’s cool climate, combined with the high altitude, favors the slow ripening of the grapes, resulting in wines with refined aromas and flavors. In addition to Xinomavro, Ktima Alpha cultivates international and local varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Syrah.

The winery is also known for its technological innovations, both in viticulture and winemaking. They use sustainable cultivation techniques, with advanced humidity monitoring and disease prediction systems, which reduce the use of pesticides and maintain the health of the vineyards. The winemaking process involves fermentation at controlled temperatures and aging in oak barrels, ensuring high-quality wines with perfect balance.
