Soil: Sandy and clayey-sandy with excellent drainage, ideal for top quality winemaking.

Climate: Semi-continental, with snowy winters and dry, cool summers. Nights are cold, with frequent northwesterly winds and no spring frost.

Harvest: Manual, with collection boxes to ensure careful selection of the grapes.

Yield: 25.50 hl/ha, after harvesting at the green stage of maturity, guaranteeing the quality of the wine.

Winemaking Method: Destemming and light crushing
Cold skin maceration under controlled conditions
Alcoholic fermentation with gradual increase in temperature
Wine kept on lees for 8 months, with regular stirring.

Aging: 18 months in Allier-Bertrange oak barrels with medium to light toast, and 12 months of maturation in the bottle.

Tasting Characteristics:
This wine has a deep ruby ​​color with violet hues. Its aroma is powerful , with cherry , candied plum , vanilla and toasted wood . On the palate, it is full-bodied, with flavors of dark red fruits , notes of pepper and oak , and powerful tannins that intensify towards the end, leaving a lively acidity that adds energy. A wine for cellaring with great potential for evolution.
