Description

KTIMA TSELEPOS
Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Tegea

Varieties : Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Kolliniatiko
Classification : Dry Red Wine

Origin :
Originating from the slopes of Mount Parnon in the Tegea mountain region, this wine is a unique expression of Greek viticulture. Grown at an impressive altitude of 750 metres in the vineyards of Kokkinomilos and Avlotopi, the terroir offers ideal conditions for the development of the grapes.

Soil Characteristics :
With clay-limestone soil with excellent drainage, the vineyards are favored by an environment that guarantees the maximum expression of the potential of the cultivated varieties, offering the wine a natural elegance and unique complexity.

Winemaking :
The wine is produced using the traditional method, respecting each stage of the process. Maceration lasts between 10 and 15 days, extracting the maximum color and flavor from the grapes. Aging takes place for 10 months in oak barrels, which gives the wine a refined structure and deliciously smooth tannins.

Tasting Notes :

  • Color : A deep, intense red, with reflections that promise great sophistication.
  • Aroma : Ripe red fruits dominate the nose, with a subtle hint of sweet vanilla that adds an additional charm.
  • Palate : On the palate, the wine reveals a full and enveloping body, with velvety and well-integrated tannins, providing a sensation of smoothness and balance. The finish is long, elegant and striking, reflecting the complexity of the grapes and the winemaking process.

Storage Potential :
This wine has great potential for evolution, with a storage capacity of between 5 and 7 years, which allows the wine to continue to develop and improve its characteristics over time.

Harmonization :
Ideal to accompany braised meats, pasta with intense sauces or dishes with a robust flavor. Its structure and balance make it an excellent choice for sophisticated dinners and special occasions.

Serving Temperature :
For a perfect experience, serve at 18°C.
