Winemaking:
The harvest took place at the green stage of ripeness in July, aiming to achieve an ideal flavor and balanced polyphenolic maturation. The grapes were hand-picked during the last week of August. Fermentation was carried out at controlled temperatures between 27°C and 29°C, using selected yeasts. Approximately 15% of the wine was aged in oak barrels for 12 months, giving it complexity and structure.
Tasting Notes:
Lyrarakis Red Kotsifali Syrah has a dark ruby color. On the nose, it reveals a delicate balance between ripe black fruit and peppery notes, as well as nuances of sweet spices. On the palate, it stands out for its deep flavors of ripe fruit, delicate tannins and a long, spicy finish, providing a rich and engaging tasting experience.
