Lyrarakis White Muscat of Spina-Vidiano is an elegant dry white wine, grown in the central region of Crete, in the village of Alagni. With a composition of 75% Muscat of Spina and 25% Vidiano, this wine reflects the purity and freshness of the grapes harvested by hand, with a meticulous winemaking process to preserve its unique character.
Its bright pale yellow color is accompanied by ripe aromas of grapefruit and stone fruit, enhanced by the persistent presence of rose petals. On the palate, it offers a pleasant acidity and a velvety finish, making it a sophisticated option for a variety of occasions.
Winemaking :
The grapes are harvested by hand in the last week of August, with the exact moment of harvest defined by sensory evaluation of the berries. After destemming, the nearly whole grapes are pressed under reducing conditions for 8 to 10 hours, to preserve freshness and texture. The wine undergoes a three-month maturation on fine lees.
