Winemaking: Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks at 23°C for 6 days, followed by complete malolactic fermentation and brief maturation on fine lees.
Made from 100% Agiorgitiko grapes, this wine expresses the authenticity and tradition of the renowned Nemea region, in the heart of the Peloponnese. Grown in vineyards located at an altitude of 500 meters, where the clayey soil and climate marked by harsh winters and mild summers contribute to a balanced ripening of the grapes, resulting in a sophisticated and well-structured wine.
The bright violet color, of medium intensity and pinkish reflections, already announces the aromatic richness of this label. On the nose, it reveals itself intense and vibrant, with seductive notes of black cherries and blackberries, combined with nuances of plum, wild flowers and dried herbs. On the palate, the experience becomes even more engaging, with a medium body, balanced acidity and soft, round tannins, providing impeccable harmony. The finish is elegant and persistent, with a subtle touch of anise that adds an additional charm to the tasting.
This wine is an excellent accompaniment to grilled meats, mushroom-based dishes, roasted vegetables and dishes containing red or dark fruits, further highlighting its complexity and versatility. For best appreciation, it is recommended to serve it between 15°C and 17°C.
