Variety : The well-known Merlot, with 80%, together with the mountainous Mavroudi, both from the slopes of Aigio.

Location : The hilly vineyards of the Aigio slopes in eastern Achaia.

Winemaking : Careful selection of Merlot and Mavroudi grapes from the mountains to ensure they arrive at the winery at the ideal state of maturity and hygiene. Harvested in small boxes of up to 10 kilos. Maceration of the must with the skins at low temperatures and subsequent fermentation at moderate temperatures, not exceeding 20°C. Separation with light pressure and maturation in stainless steel tanks for 2 months. Bottled in an inert gas atmosphere.

Personality : A modern and light red wine, full of aromas of small red fruits and red flowers. Smooth and velvety on the palate, it is ideal to accompany roast meats and pasta with light red sauces.

Best served at: 16-18°C
